Optometry brings me joy as I am able to provide people with their clearest vision possible, whether it be through glasses, vision therapy, or managing their ocular health.
In the final year of my Doctor of Optometry course, I undertook a four-week clinical placement on the Phelophepa healthcare train which provided services to rural communities across South Africa. The highlight of my experience was seeing how a simple pair of glasses literally changed these people’s lives.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends, family and pets, going to the gym, enjoying good food and travelling.
